Here in Zagreb, we woke up this morning having the new local government. Regardless of the political standpoints, we must hope we will be in good hands. Though local elections are over, every day is an opportunity to choose or to be chosen. Choosing somebody new is a huge challenge but also a necessity once the time for change arrives.

But, how to make a good choice when it comes to entrusting our important issues to somebody we’ve never worked with before?

Does this sound realistic? Don’t be misled by unrealistic promises!
Am I informed about the possible risks of each strategy and what would that cost me?
Are the actions of predecessors and limitations of the system already calculated into the initial settings of the strategy?
In that case, it’s less likely they will be used later, as an excuse for possible failures.

Be smart enough to let the realistic expectations lead you through your choices.
Be brave enough to trust your instincts when it comes to the energy and enthusiasm of the ones you chose!
