Ivan graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Zagreb in September 2022. During his studies, Ivan gained practical experience as a student teaching assistant in two courses and as a volunteer at the Legal Clinic. In recognition of his academic achievements, he was awarded the Dean’s Award. He also attended the Bocconi Summer School in International Business and Digital Law. In 2026, he passed the Croatian Bar Exam with special distinction.

Before joining Mišković & Mišković in May 2026, Ivan gained professional experience first at an international company and subsequently at a law firm, where he assisted in providing legal advice to both domestic and international clients on corporate and commercial matters, worked on M&A transactions and represented clients in various court and other proceedings.

Ivan’s practice primarily focuses on corporate and commercial law, with a particular emphasis on banking and finance and capital markets. He advises clients on the structuring and implementation of a broad range of financial and corporate transactions, including financing and refinancing arrangements and capital markets transactions. He also assists with the preparation and negotiation of the related documentation and advises clients on their day-to-day corporate matters.

Ivan also works on M&A transactions, providing legal support throughout various stages of the transaction process, including legal due diligence and the preparation and negotiation of transaction documents.

Ivan particularly enjoys matters that may initially appear complex but can ultimately be resolved through clear and practical solutions. He believes that understanding the broader commercial context, thorough preparation and effective communication are just as important as sound legal knowledge. Away from his desk, Ivan can often be found on the tennis court or in his running shoes, where he finds a welcome break from redlines and transaction documents.
